There is a phenomenon known as the “entourage effect” where the action of multiple cannabinoids and other plant compounds known as terpenes exhibit effects at a variety of receptors. In all, neither CBD or THC alone are as opportune as a mono therapy without other accompanying elements of the plant including phytocannabinoids and terpenes.
