3,4 In a May 2023 article in Nature Plants , Weissman Institute scientists confirmed that woolly umbrella produces CBGA in trichomes on its leaves, but hardly any CBGA was present on its flowers. That’s different from cannabis, where CBGA and other cannabinoids are concentrated in trichomes on flower tops. Epub 2011 Sep 8.

Concentrated in the resinous trichomes of raw cannabis flowers and to a lesser extent on the leaves, cannabinoid acids such as THCA and CBDA offer a robust cornucopia of health benefits without any intoxicating effect. Adequately dense, but not rock hard, the nugs are pale green with orange hairs and, while its appearance does showcase a bit of frostiness from the trichomes, it’s not incredibly sticky to the touch. Producing consistent THC percentages around 18 percent, this mellow strain is energizing, but not like a stress-inducing sativa.
