The Illinois Register today gave notice of an adopted amendment for the Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act to exempt Cannabis facilities from new horticulture electrical power and lighting systems rules. The new adopted amendment regulates new lighting efficacies, stating, “Permanently installed luminaires shall have a photosynthetic photon efficacy of not less than 1.7 μmol/J for horticultural lighting in greenhouses and not less than 2.2 μmol/J for all other horticultural lighting.
