HB5284 to eliminate health care facility restrictions on medical cannabis use

If House Bill 5284 becomes law, Illinois registered qualifying medical cannabis patients would gain more rights within a health care facility. Late yesterday, Illinois Rep. Kevin John Olickal introduced HB5284, which would eliminate health care facility restrictions on medical cannabis use by a registered qualifying patient. HB5284 would amend the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Program Act with the following two provisions.
