One of my least favorite strains is Purple Punch. cycle, I decided to pop Black Cherry Punch by 34 Mongrels as my one nighttime strain. Once the plant started flowering, the buds turned from lime green to forest green, to dark purple and gray, with tall trichomes covering the bud and leaves.

While Revolution’s genetic library boasts a large variety of experiences, in my mind, Revolution is always associated with the creamy doughy flavor perfected in strains, such as Cookie Crasher. During a recent stop at Star Buds Burbank a budtender told me about Grape Jubilee, one of the more indica-leaning strains from Kaviar’s new releases. The trichomes were visibly milky but shrouded by sugar leaf remnants. At the end of a long day, a heavy indica lulling me off to sleep is really hard to beat.

White Cherry Wedding Cake was highly introspective and exactly the type of strain the word “stoned” was made for.

A few weeks ago, I ran into John Grown #39, who let us know about a new strain he cultivated: Dream Cloud. This Dream Cloud takes about 64 days to flower (under a Growers Republic 780W Full Spectrum light) and produces large olive-green buds covered in creamy trichomes with protruding rust-colored pistils.

This sativa-leaning strain is a cross between the “Y” and “Snowman” and is named after NBA great Gary Payton, who was known as “The Glove.” The jar contained seven large-to-popcorn size flowers that were frosty with trichomes.
